I'm Shannon
It's a pleasure to meet you! I'm a seasoned public relations professional bringing over 15 years of experience in the health communications field. I have a deep-seated belief that health impacts every single one of us - we are all patients, afterall - and we each have our own unique stories to share and futures to redefine.

My journey in communications began with a heartfelt belief in the power of storytelling to inspire change - change in mindsets to remove stigma in diabetes; change in behaviors to recognize risks of stroke; and, change in the future of cancer care by bringing communities together under a common cause.
Prior to launching my independent consulting business, I spearheaded the development and implementation of Novavax's Global Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) strategy and led initiatives focused on corporate reputation and executive visibility. Previously, I led AstraZeneca’s US Oncology signature program portfolio and brand communications across four therapeutic areas, fostering strategic
partnerships aimed at advancing health equity, improving access to care, and championing
precision medicine and innovative treatment options. Furthermore, I drove corporate affairs strategy surrounding regulatory and data milestone communications in breast, gastric,
lung and blood cancers and pioneered patient and caregiver campaigns in collaboration with
leading patient advocacy organizations.

I'm a convener at heart and strive to understand the unique needs of my clients, and their audiences, to collectively drive meaningful change and hope to make this world a brighter place.

As a military family, we call many different places home, but know that home is truly where those you love can be found. In my downtime, you'll find me with my husband and two wild boys exploring all the possiblities outside has to hold - from bike rides and knee scrapes to baseball fields and long trips to cities unknown.
